Georgia teacher found not guilty in 'dirty dancing' trial

In Decantur, Georgia a teacher was found not guilty on charges of contrubuting to acts of misdemenor depravation of a minor. Back in 2008 students in his choir class performed dance routines for their whole class, according to eye witnesses their teacher was helping another student find their music at the time, when three male students stripped out of their shirts and made sexual moves twoards a group of girls in the front row of their classroom audience. The school fired him last year when they alleged that he didn't properly supervise his students. The real issue was when one of his students posted the video to facebook.

In this case, i believe that the verdict was completely accurate. He does not deserve to be punished for what his students did in his classroom. They were fully capable of knowing what they were doing, they are all older high school students. In high school we are beginning to be considered as adults, why wouldn't we be able to take responsibility of our own actions? Those young adults knew exactly what they were doing. And in that they should be the ones to be taking the consequences and just dealing with them. In the article, there is a link to the link that was posted to facebook, and having personally watched the video, I do not think that there is anything wrong with it. If anyone would watch that video, then go to any high school dance, they would feel that the dance at the high school was way more provacative than the video of what those boys did in a presentation of expression and movement it their choir class.
