Russia bomb kills 6; more than 40 hurt

In Russia on Wednesday May 25th a bomb was set off in front of a dance hall. The show was starting at 7 o'clock when the bomb went off at 6:45 p.m and killed 6 and there are more than 40 people now hurt. Around 200 grams of bomb explosives were detonated by a remote control, and the bomb was also filled with small metal objects with the hopes of inflicting as much damage to the people around as possible. No claims have been made, but they believe that it is an Islamic extremist group causing the terror, there have been two other bombings in recent months. One was in the subways in Moscow killing over 40 people.

I believe that these acts of terrorism are getting very old. I think that now since they happen more often they really have no effect on the world. Its getting very normal to be able to hear about a bombing in one country, or shootings between terrorist groups in another. They aren't really random acts because even though we do not know when they are coming, we expect them to happen. The levels of awarness have actually dropped i believe since 9/11, people used to go crazy about every little threat, and now after none of those threats have come through we are not prepared to handle them when they actually do happen.
